This handout contains nuggets from the Introduction section of the book. Recommended scripture readings for this study include Ephesians 6:10-18; 2 Chronicles 20:15; and Exodus 14:13-14

1. Imagine what the world would be like if Christians ahs one goal in mind: stop the enemy (Satan) before the enemy could make another attack on innocent lives. Romans 16:20

2. Ask Holy Spirit to show you how to let go of what you once knew about spiritual warfare and give a new strategy that you will embrace to win the battle. 2 Chronicles 20:14-17; Romans 12:12

3. We will only discover the fullness and effects of victory when we lay down our logic, understanding, perspective, approach to battle. Isaiah 55:7-8: Proverbs 21:2

4. “Spiritual warfare is a battle between invisible, angelic forces that affect you and me.”  P.10

5. Ask Holy Spirit to help you sharpen your “sixth sense.” It is an especially sharp awareness of the spiritual realm. John 16:13; Jeremiah 33:3

6. Spiritual warfare happens in heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12; Job 38:7

7. God the Father, Jesus the Son and our spiritual blessings are in heavenly places. Ephesians 1:3; 20

8. We as Christians are seated in heavenly places. Spiritual rulers and authorities are also there. Ephesians 2:6; 3:10

9. We change what happens on earth. Matthew 18:18; Genesis 1:26

10. Satan is a limited being, but God is not. God is everywhere. Proverbs 15:3; Jeremiah 23:24

11. God gives us free will to choose who we will serve. Hint: Choose God. Joshua 24:15

12. The battle that Satan wages with us is for God’s glory. I Corinthians 10:31; Colossians 3:23
